“It began three days ago with a fight. Seems that for me, everything begins with a fight…”
Sammy Jo may be strong, fast and tough, even in heels, but she gets into trouble when she fights some local thugs to save a rich boy named Gregory.
Now bad guy McCloud is after her – and he’s even more dangerous than her forbidden love for Gregory.
Fighter Girl was published in the United Kingdom under the title GYPSY GIRL.
I received a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review, as a part of the blog tour organized by Xpresso Book Tours
Several things catches my attention when I pass through this book before, the title, the blurb, and the big chance of it having a badass female character. So yeah, of course I would love to join the book tour. And hell this book is majorly entertaining. I've never read anything about gypsies and the way the author introduced us to what it is and what it was like (at least in the book) was amazing, since I always had a problem with author's method of introduction, this book deserve a clap.
The plot it self was really entertaining. It was like Kathryn James knew how I love my heroines to be strong so she started the book with a fight. Sammy-Jo, the heroine, is just amazing. I love how no matter how physically strong she is, she still acts and dress like a girl instead of being all manly. The romance is cute, you would totally enjoy it if you're into kinda insta-loves like me. Everything about this book is just so fun and refreshing compared to my other more-towards-adult recent reads. Totally something I would re-read in the future, Recommended!!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Kathryn lives in Leicester with her family, writing full time (and loves that!) Kathryn always wanted to become an author and wrote her first story at age eight. But it took quite a while and lots of different jobs before she got published.
She's worked with gypsy and traveller children, working from a converted bus with a rainbow on the side, doing video and photography projects, and documenting travelling lives.
Mist draws on and is influenced by her work with this community.
She's also written scripts for a local video production company, many of them for children and teenagers.
