Feature and Follow Friday #8

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme created by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, where you get to meet new blogger friends and followers!

Question of the week

Question of the Week: Change the Plot. If you could, what book would you change the ending or a plot thread? Go ahead and do it...change it.

Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I think many Divergent fans out there would also love it if they could change the ending of this book. I love love love this trilogy so much but then there's the ending of the trilogy.

I haven't finished reading this book actually, I've gone halfway through the book then someone tweeted a super huge spoiler about the ending, and I just couldn't do it (read this I mean, at least for now). The spoiler ruined me, and so I would not post about it here. It would ruin you too.

If you'd read the book, I bet you'd know which part of the ending I would gladly change.

  1. See this is why I am glad I am bad at checking out other people's tweets. I heard that someone leaked the ending and after that I didn't even glance at reviews of other people. I basically cut myself off from all things Allegiant until I finished reading it. Which it became top priority once it arrived.

While I was saddened by the end, I did still like it in a way. Definitely wouldn't mind a happier ending, but definitely content with what we got. Hope that maybe one day you'll finish it. Despite its sadness, it was still a good ending.

    1. You are so lucky you're not tainted by the spoilers. I was just opening twitter and it was there on my timeline :'-(

But now that you've say so, I felt a bit more confident in finishing this book! thanks!

  2. This is why I avoid reading any social media when a new book comes out and I see the book cover or title anywhere by skimming. I don't want to be ruined of the ending or a major plot. I did read it and I didn't like it - which I shared on my FF post.

    1. You did the right thing, avoiding social medias that could ruin you. I wish I'd chosen to do that instead :-(

I haven't read the Divergent series yet and I really need to before the movies come out. I've heard a lot about Allegiant in this weeks FF though.

    1. You should try it out! super recommended. BUT, mark my words, don't even think about finding spoilers for Allegiant. It would ruin everything. Thanks for the follow back!

  4. New GFC/Bloglovin' follower. I had heard the Allegiant spoiler even before I started Divergent. When I finally got to read the very end myself, I kind of liked it. :)

    1. Wow that is really strong of you, to be able to finish it all even though you knew what would happen at the end...

Thanks for the visit and follow! followed you back!

  5. Thanks for stopping by my FF. :)

I had a similar reaction when I finished Allegiant. Hated the ending so much. The worst part was it didn't even achieve anything. It would have been fine if it was justified but I felt like it was all for nothing. Ugh. :( Great pick for this week though.

    1. I know right, (even though I haven't finished reading it yet) the trilogy deserve a better ending :'-(

      Thanks for the follow!

  6. I almost picked this one, but didn't. It was too frustrating to even write about haha.
