Interview with Tessa McCaide (Becoming Alpha)

Tessa McCaide is a newbie werewolf from the book Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin. She used to be a mere teenager like us but then something wrong happened, and then she turned bad-ass. And now I got to interview her! Becoming Alpha is also not officially on a Blog Tour, so consider this as a teaser. Check out the awesome blurb below and my review of this book! Awesome. No further ado,  I'll leave you with this awesome interview so I can do my victory dance because... Tessa said my name!

Becoming Alpha

Series: Alpha Girl #1
Publication date: December 17th 2013

Tessa McCaide has a unique talent for getting into trouble. Then again, it isn’t easy for a girl with visions to ignore what she sees. Luckily Tessa and her family are leaving California and moving halfway across the country, giving her the perfect opportunity to leave her reputation as “Freaky Tessa” behind.
But Tessa doesn’t realize that kissing the wrong guy in her new Texas town could land her in far more trouble than she ever imagined. Like being forced to attend St. Ailbe’s Academy, a secret boarding school for werewolves.
Even if the wrong guy did accidentally turn her into one of “them” and doom her to attending the weirdest high school ever, Tessa can’t help her growing attraction to the mysterious Dastien Laurent.
When vampires attack St. Alibe’s and her visions pinpoint an enemy in their midst, Tessa realizes that boy drama and her newfound canine tendencies might just be the least of her problems.

Interview with Tessa McCaide
Feli: Hi there Tessa! I'm really happy that you decided to do this interview with me! Without further ado, I've got several questions for you. Ready?

Tessa: Only totally! Do your worst. ;)

Feli: Let's start off with the most un-related one. What is the weirdest food you've ever eaten?

Tessa: When I lived in LA, my dad took me to one of those sushi places where you just get what you get and you don’t get upset. (I love me some sushi!) But they brought out a plate with this mound of paste it and some little dipping sauces. You had to scrape up the paste with this little scooper and dip it in the sauce. I thought it was spicy tuna at first (YUM!), but it was shrimp tartare (NOT YUM!!!!). It was veiny and stringy and slimy :::gags:::

Take my advice on this one, if that ever shows up on your plate, don’t do it. It’s not worth it. Step away from the tartare, my friend. Step away from the tartare.

Feli: Will step away from shrimp tartare. Ok, what was it like being a werewolf now that Dastien is by your side? Would you still prefer becoming a human?

Tessa: Being a werewolf isn’t such a bad deal. I like the control I get with my visions. I don’t know if my cousins could’ve helped with that, guess I’ll never know. But the bottom line is that I have control now, and that means I can actually live my life. I don’t regret anything with Dastien. He’s amazing (not to mention hawt). Maybe it wasn’t ideal how everything went down, but I’m pretty happy where I am. I’m trying to be okay with actually becoming a wolf. It still kind of freaks me out, but I think that’s normal. And if it means I get to keep Dastien by my side, I think a little fur isn’t too high of a price to pay. Right? ;)

Feli: I know you haven't shifted yet. But, sorry, I am actually looking forward to it. I don't know why. If you could choose your fur color as a wolf, what color would you pick?

Tessa: I know. I’m kind of being a mental case about the whole thing, huh? ;) But I think being a black wolf would be awesome. Fully jet black. Like a panther. Panthers are badass.

Hmmm…maybe don’t tell Dastien about the panther thing. Don’t want him getting jealous. Let’s just keep that between us.

Feli: Panthers are bad-ass. My mouth is shut (let's just hope Dastien didn't read this post). In your opinion would wolf-Dastien looked good in a bee costume? (no offense, Dastien)

Tessa: I might be a bit biased, but I think that guy could make a potato sack look sexy. Hmm…if I could get him in a bee costume, I think he’d be totally hot. You’ve given me all kinds of ideas, Feli. This must happen. I wonder what it would take for me to get him in one...

Feli: Oh I  would do anything to see that. The most important question, in scale 1 to 10, what was it like kissing Dastien?

Tessa: I don’t usually like to kiss and tell…wait…I totally do! Kissing him is definitely off the scale. Because kissing him = Mind. Blowing.

Feli: That's all! Thanks again for this interview, Tessa. Good luck with the pack and everything! I'll see you again in Avoiding Alpha! Hope things stay good with you and Dastien since I ship you both so hard.

Tessa: Thanks so much, Feli! Gotta run! Dastien awaits. ;) ;)
